New entrepreneurial realities will be discovered through talks and workshops, stories of life changes, and much more. The day will conclude with a "pink night," where you can feel like you're at a pajama party with your friends.
The audience can register for different activities (three in the afternoon), the aperitif time, or the concluding evening to allow more people to join.
From 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

5:00 PM Tea (in collaboration with English School): Like in a typical English evening, the audience can create their own tea blend by mixing various herbs. Sala Lettura / Biblioteca

FUORI VILLA
Villa Bernasconi – Cernobbio
From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
ROOTS EXHIBITION | RADICI
Exhibition curated by Italea Lombardia
Inspired by the graphic novel of the same name by Bruna Martini
Organized by the Municipality of Cernobbio
Continuing the activities promoted for 2024, the Year of Italian Roots in the World, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italea Lombardia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cernobbio, presents the exhibition "Roots | Radici," inspired by the eponymous graphic novel by Bruna Martini. Eight panels from the book are displayed at Villa Bernasconi, accompanied by a selection of objects found over years of research in archives, libraries, public offices, and antique shops in Italy and Argentina.
Villa Bernasconi opens to the public with the invitation, “Come visit me, I have stories to tell”: a museum that is first and foremost a "talking house," the perfect place to host the testimony of a "journey of roots" connected to the Lario area.
In Roots | Radici, Bruna Martini guides us, through illustrated panels and color suggestions, on a journey to discover the story of her ancestor Gracco Cornelio Rondalli, who left Calolzio in Lecco province in 1915. His memory had been completely forgotten by the family. Bruna moves like an investigator, uncovering information that tells the life of her great-great-grandfather and the millions of Italians like him who left Italy seeking fortune elsewhere.
In a world that has always dealt with uprooting and the construction of new identities, Bruna Martini’s graphic memoir shifts from a personal story to a collective one, connecting the past, present, and future and encouraging reflection on legacy and ties to the land.
10:30 AM
MEMORIES AS ROOTS, BRANCHES AS DREAMS
Workshop for children and families from 6 to 100 years old
Led by Cristina Quadrio of Fata Morgana
A free creative workshop to play and discover. Who am I? Where do I come from? Where do I want to go? To stand tall, we remember and stretch our arms like wings, gazing towards the sky. Paper, colors, memories, dreams, and imagination to create our roots.
4:00 PM
PAST, ROOTS, AND HIDDEN TREASURES WITHIN US
Conference with Silvia Ostini, psychologist and psychotherapist, and presentation of the book Oltre l’oscurità (Beyond Darkness) by Marilena Taormina, holistic practitioner, who presents her book Oltre l’oscurità.
Winter is the season when Nature withdraws its energy in anticipation of the spring awakening, similar to animals in hibernation. We take advantage of this time to tune into the energies of the season, bringing us within ourselves to observe and listen to what lies hidden in our depths. Like the goddess Persephone, who faces darkness to emerge transformed in Spring, we can meet the shadows of our past, integrate our roots, and claim the hidden treasures—our still-unrecognized resources.
